Assembly is currently ongoing. Deliveries expected to start March 2024. We process and deliver orders on a first-come, first-served basis.

Your pre-flight checklist
The Airain Type 20 Furtivité Limited Edition is based on the Type 20 Re-Edition which closely matches the brand’s original 1950s Type 20. It features a hand wound column wheel chronograph with flyback function and countdown bezel. On its dial are the original lumed Arabic numerals, a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, and a 30-minute recorder at 3 o’clock. A domed sapphire crystal protects it. We’ve carefully chosen the hand-applied beige Super-LumiNova colour, to recall the original Type 20’s luminescent material.

316L stainless steel case with anthracite Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating , 39.5mm in diameter and 10.85mm in height (without crystal), 47.7mm lug-to-lug with screwed in case back and bidirectional moving countdown bezel.

Manual-wind column wheel chronograph caliber AM2 with flyback complication, 63 hours power reserve (+/- 2 hours), 30 minute chronograph, 23 jewels and Incabloc shock protection. Adjusted in 5 positions.

The Iconic French Pilot Watch
Type 20 refers to a specification for pilot’s chronographs issued by the French Ministry of Defense. The unique feature of the Type 20 was the ‘flyback’ function, which allows the pilot to easily reset the chronograph hand, and quickly start timing a new event without the lag in time of pushing two more buttons.

The Furtivité Limited Edition dial will have a stealthy grey shade with beige coloured Super-LumiNova.

The Type 20 Re-Edition is powered by our caliber AM2, developed and made by Manufacture AMT, Sellita’s high end division in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. This hand-wound column wheel chronograph movement with flyback function boasts up to 63 hours of power reserve. Its chronograph can count up to 30 minutes and has Incabloc shock protection.
